
Conference Classroom System Operation

SYSTEM STARTUP
To start up the class technology, press the touch screen and select the “Quick Start” button in the lower left.
In a few seconds, the system will begin to power up the system, during this time, the screen will turn on the four displays in the room.


Presentation Mode (Podium, Laptop, AirMedia, Blu-Ray/DVD)
To make a selection of presentation devices, click “Quick Start” in lower left , and select “Presentation”.

You will be presented with a selection of input sources. Please make a choice for your presentation.
Podium PC SELECTION
To present using the Podium PC, please select “Main PC” (second choice), and choose the “Send to” appropriate display in the room (Front Left and/or Right). The Podium PC will be displayed on the Front Left and Right displays. The content will be displayed in the back displays of the room.


Laptop PC SELECTION
To present using the Laptop, please select “Laptop” (first choice), and choose the “Podium Laptop” if your laptop is connected via VGA or HDMI, then choose the “Send to” appropriate display in the room (Front Left and/or Right).
The laptop source will be displayed on the Front Left and Right displays. The content will be displayed in the back displays of the room.


BluRay/DVD SELECTION
To present using the BluRay / DVD, please select “BluRay / DVD” (third choice), and choose the “Send to” appropriate display in the room (Front Left and/or Right). The BluRay / DVD will be displayed on the Front Left and Right TVs. The TVs will be displayed in the back of the room.
To control the player, please use the functions available on the touch panel, to Stop, Play, Pause, Previous, Rewind, Fast Forward, Next.


AirMedia SELECTION
To present using AirMedia, please select “AirMedia” (fifth choice), and choose the “Send to” appropriate display in the room (Front Left and/or Right). Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the AirMedia. You will need to be connected to “SJUMobile” wifi network.
Input the AirMedia IP address in your browser. The connected webpage will provide instructions to present.
The AirMedia source will be displayed on the Front Left and Right TVs. The TVs will be displayed in the back of the room.

Stop Presentation to Displays
For all sources, you also have the ability to stop presenting to all/some displays. To stop the presentations, click the “Stop Presentation” button on lower left of the touch panel and the display sources will disappear from the chosen Front Left and Right TVs. The TVs will stop displaying in the back of the room.
To return to another source, select the appropriate source button again, and the image will reappear on all presentation devices.


Audio Control
To control the audio level in the room, press the up arrow to raise the volume and the down arrow to lower the volume. Click the “Volume” button on lower right. The bar on the left tells you the current level. In addition, you can “Mute” the audio by pressing the “Mute” button. To un-mute the audio, press the “Mute” button again.


Audio Conference Mode (Make Voice TeleConferencing Calls)
Calls cannot only be outgoing, incoming calls will not be accepted.
To make a selection of presentation devices, click “Quick Start or Start” in lower left , and select “Audio Conference”.

Dial the phone number on the touch panel, “9-AREACODE-NUMBER” and click “Connect”. The in-room phone will dial.
Audio and Microphone is located in the ceiling.
To disconnect the call, simply click “Disconnect” on the touch panel.
Video Conference Mode (Make Videoconferencing using Cisco TelePresence)
To make a selection of presentation devices, click “Quick Start or Start” in lower left , and select “Video Conference”.

Dial the IP number of the destination Cisco VC system on the touch panel. Click “Connect”. The Cisco TelePresence system will start calling the destination system.
The destination must accept the call.
Once connected, you will see the destination’s video on the TVs in the front and rear of the room.
To control your in-room camera, click “Camera” tab on the touch panel.
Choose “Front Camera” or “Rear Camera” on the touch panel. Then adjust the camera using the Pan/Tilt or Zoom +/- on the touch panel.

To control the destination camera, click “FarEnd Camera”, and adjust the camera.

To display content to share within the video conference, click the “Content” tab on the touch panel.
Choose the source to share, “Laptop”, “Main PC” or “AirMedia”.
Your content will display on the screens and to the destination location.
To stop the presentation sharing, click “Content Stopped”.
To disconnect the video conference, simply click the “Dial” tab, and the “Disconnect” button, on the right side.

To Power Down the System
To power the system down, press the “Start” button on lower left. Click the “Shut Down” button, the touch panel will prompt to confirm, if you want to shut down the system.
Please choose
“Yes” or “No”
Please logoff the Podium PC or Laptop.

Conference Classroom Components
The computer PC system and Blu-Ray/DVD is located in the rear closet of the room.


Using wireless presentation with AirMedia (Windows, Mac AirPlay)
Follow the on-screen inctructions, open a web browser, In the address bar, Type in the IP Address from the bottom left of the display.

Click the “Start Presenting Button” on the webpage.
