Starting September 15, 2025, Microsoft will retire the “Teams Meetings” and “Teams Classes” LTIs. These tools will no longer function in Canvas. To continue using Teams in your courses, switch to the new “Microsoft Education” LTI, which consolidates Microsoft integrations, including Teams and OneDrive, into a single portal. This new LTI will be available in Canvas starting Thursday, August 28. As part of this update, St. John’s will also disable the “OneDrive 1.3” and “Office 365” LTIs, since their features are now included in Microsoft Education.
