Navigate to “Printers & scanners.”

Located in “Settings”, then “Bluetooth & devices”, then “Printers & scanners”
You can also search for “Printers & scanners” in the search bar.

Select “Add device”
If you do not see the device you are looking to connect to in the list, select “Add a new device manually.”

Select a shared printer by name and type in the print server name and print queue name. Entry will auto-fill as you begin typing. (Refer to the print sheet located on the departmental printer itself. It will contain this info.)
When entering the print server name, please modify it to include: admin.ads.stjohns.edu. Ex: \\sq00000000.admin.ads.stjohns.edu\p-000000000
If connecting by IP, enter the IP address
The printer driver will now be installed on your computer. Follow the prompts. Once added, check the box next to Set as the default printer if you wish to make the printer your new default for all programs.
Click on “Print a test page” if you wish to test the connection to the printer, otherwise click Finish.
