1. Log in to NewUIS

There are 2 ways to access NewUIS:

CONNECT:
Login to Connect via mobile app or https://connect.stjohns.edu.

SIGN-ON PORTAL:
Login to https://signon.stjohns.edu.
Click on the widget for New UIS:

2. New UIS Experience
.
Your UIS Experience Dashboard will open up:
.
Under “My Information,” view your Academic Profile.
.
.
3. Academic Profile:
.
Click on “Registration Notices” to view your status and your Time Ticket for registration.
.

4. Registration:
.
Once you have met with your advisor, they will issue a PIN to you. You will need the PIN in order to proceed with registration once your Time Ticket starts. There will be a different PIN for each term that you are registering for.

Please note: You will not be able to proceed without the PIN.

To search for available classes:
Select the “Browse Classes” link from the Registration section of your Dashboard:

Select the term that you are looking for:
.
Enter your search criteria (see example below):

All courses matching your criteria will be filtered for your review:
.

Once you find the courses you’re looking for, click “Register for Classes”.

Select the Term and enter your Advising PIN:
.

Go to the Enter CRNs tab and click +Add Another CRN. Then click Add to Summary button.

Your courses will appear under the Summary section. Then click the Submit button on the lower right corner.

You will see a green “Registered” status once you have successfully submitted.

If you are trying to register for a course, and you are not within your Time Ticket, you may receive the following messages:
