As of February 16th, 2026 Connect is now the home base for students accessing St. John's services.
Connect is where you will find Canvas, UIS, Office 365, and all your other apps, and SignOn is stepping aside.
What to do right now:
- Go to Connect.
- Log in with your SignOn credentials.
- Bookmark it, you will be using this from now.
On your phone? Download the Connect app. Want to customize? Drag apps around, add what you use, remove what you don't. Can't find something? Learn how to customize your dashboard.
What about SignOn? We're weaning you off gradually — no cold turkey here. Canvas, UIS, Office 365, etc., will stay on SignOn until the Easter Break (April 2), so you have time to get comfortable with Connect.
After the Easter break, SignOn goes away completely for students. Use this time to explore Connect and set up your dashboard the way you like it.
