Users can move unwanted or spam emails automatically from the Inbox to the Junk email folder.



Managing Junk Mail on the Outlook Desktop App

  1. Click the Home tab at the top left of the screen.

  2. Click the Junk drop-down.

  3. Choose Junk E-mail Options.

  4. Select the button next to the level of protection you want.

  5. Click Apply, Click OK.

How do I mark an email as Junk in Outlook?

  1. In your Inbox, Find the email you wish you mark as junk and right click on it.

  2. Go to Junk and then click Block Sender. (The areas to click are marked by the red boxes)

  3. The email will now be marked as "junk", and future email like this will be sent to your Junk Folder

  1. At the top right of the page, select Settings > View all Outlook settings.

  2. Select Mail > Junk email.

  3. If you want to block an email address, Click Add under Blocked senders and domains and enter the email address
    If you want to block all email from a domain, Click Add under Blocked senders and domains and enter domain name.

  4. Click Save.
