1. Open up OUTLOOK, and click on FILE in the upper left corner.



2.  On the bottom-left of the window, scroll down to the bottom, and click on OPTIONS.


3. Click on the ADVANCED tab on the left-side. There is a section labeled "REMINDERS."

Place a checkmark in the box next to the option for "Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events".  


4. Click OK at the bottom of the window.
