If you are currently using a device issued by the University, and you need to confirm which OS version you are using, please follow these steps:
For Windows-based computers:
1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and the R key at the same time.
2. Type winver in the Open box, and then select OK.
3. A window will appear similar to this. Under the line Microsoft Windows, the version number will be listed.
For Apple MacOS-based computers:
1. From the Apple menu, in the upper-left corner of your screen, choose About This Mac.
2. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Monterey, followed by its version number. If you need to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.
