Pre-Meeting Audio Test


Visit http://signon.stjohns.edu ; click theĀ WebEx tile.





On the home screen, clickĀ ā€˜Start a meetingā€™ (green button).

This will open the meeting preview screen.Ā 
Note: If prompted to open Cisco WebEx, click ā€˜Allowā€™.




On the preview screen click the cogwheel lower right, that reads ā€˜Test speaker and microphoneā€™. This opens the audio settings dialogue.




From the ā€˜Audioā€™ settings dialogue box, clickĀ TestĀ to the right of Speaker, then click test to the right of microphone.

Quick tip: check that the volume bars for both microphone and speaker turned up.



Click Test, to the test the functionality of theĀ Speaker & Microphone.Ā 





Click the respective drop-down menus, to toggle in between Speaker and Microphone Inputs.

Consider trying other devices from the drop-down menu, in case your device is inadvertently misconfigured to the wrong input (or output).



Ā In-Meeting Audio Test

To check your audio settings while in a meeting; click ā€˜Audio & Video Tabā€™ at the top left of the WebEx meeting. Then click,Ā speaker and microphone settings.



This will open the audio dialogue box, where you may test your microphone and audio.




Click the respective drop-down menus, to toggle in between Speaker and Microphone Inputs.

Consider trying other devices from the drop-down menu, in case your device is inadvertently misconfigured to the wrong input (or output).
