Windows Devices that are managed by St. John’s University IT department have access to the Company Portal. In the Company Portal you are able to download and view software that is managed by IT.

Software that is managed by IT will be updated according to university security standards and recommendations.


To Access Company Portal Search Company Portal on your device, and open the application.



In Company Portal you will see the following areas to explore:

  • Home

    • the Device and Devices that you have set as managed by St. John’s University

  • Apps

    • The list of applications that you can install as well as the ones that are installed on your device

  • App Categories

    • The list of applications that you can install as well as the ones that are installed on your device. These applications are broken out by category.

  • Downloads & updates

    • applications currently installed and managed by IT on your device

  • Device

    • Information about your device.

  • Help & Support

    • IT Contact information


Installing an Application from Company Portal


  1. If there is a software you are looking to install from Company Portal visit the Apps area.

  2. All applications available for you to install are visible in this location.

  3. Select the application you want to install                     

  4. Select Install                                   


The application will begin installing on your device. This program will now me managed by IT and updated accordingly. There is no further steps you need to take.
