  • Minimum System Requirements (as of 2/29/2024):

    • Windows: 11 and 10 Details

    • Mac: macOS 10.15 to 14.0+

    • iOS: 12.0+ (iPad only). Must have a compatible LMS integration. Details

    • Chromebook: Details

    • Starting 6/29/23 Lockdown Browser (LDB) will no longer support Windows 7. 

      LockDown Browser (LDB) will only support Windows 10+ (details), Mac 10.15+, Chromebook (details), and iPads running iPadOS 12+ (if instructor enabled).

Web Browser Updates

  • LockDown Browser (LDB) intended to run with the most up to date version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Common Device Issues

  • Strongly Suggested: Please (if possible) complete the exam from a Windows or Mac computer to avoid any potential device errors.

  • LockDown Browser (LDB) will not work on the following devices:

o   Mobile Devices

o   Tablets

o   *iPads*, only work if instructor has enabled this feature in the exam settings (not recommended).

  •    Chromebooks; may work, but are subject to multiple errors.
