MULTIPURPOSE CLASSROOM SYSTEM OPERATION
(MANHATTAN Astor Place 105) (Combined Mode)

SYSTEM STARTUP

To startup the class technology, press the touch screen and select the “Quick Start” button in lower left, then click “Presentation”.

In a few seconds, the system will begin to power up the system, during this time, the screen will turn on the four displays in the room.


Front Projector Presentation Setup (Combined Mode)

If classroom seating is arranged to view the front of the room, please use this setup.

Click the “Start” button in lower left of the touch panel.

Choose “Tools”, you will be prompted for a tools password.

The password is “1234”, click “Enter”.

Click “Room Setup” on the touch panel.

Change “Divided” to “Combined”

Click “Start” and choose “Presentation”


Presentation Mode (Podium, Laptop, AirMedia, Blu-Ray/DVD (Combined Mode)

To make a selection of presentation devices, click “Start” in lower left , and select “Presentation”.

You will be presented with a selection of input sources. Please make a choice for your presentation.


Podium PC SELECTION (Combined Mode)

To present using the Podium PC, please select “Main PC” (second choice), and choose “Room 105 PC”. Then “Send to” the appropriate room projector “105/106” projector. The Podium PC will be displayed on the front of room projector.


Laptop PC SELECTION (Combined Mode)

To present using the Laptop, please select “Podium Laptop” (first choice), and choose “105 Front Podium Laptop”. Then “Send to” the appropriate room projector “105/106” projector. The Podium Laptop will be displayed on the front of room projector.


BluRay/DVD SELECTION (Combined Mode)

To present using the BluRay / DVD, please select “BluRay / DVD” (third choice), and choose “105 BluRay / DVD”. Then “Send to” the appropriate room projector “105/106” projector. The BluRay / DVD will be displayed on the front of room projector.

To control the player, please use the functions available on the touch panel, to Stop, Play, Pause, Previous, Rewind, Fast Forward, Next.


AirMedia SELECTION (Combined Mode)

To present using AirMedia, please select “AirMedia” (fifth choice), and choose the “105 AirMedia”. Then “Send to” the appropriate room projector “105/106” projector. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the AirMedia. You will need to be connected to “SJUMobile” wifi network.

Input the AirMedia IP address in your browser. The connected webpage will provide instructions to present.


Stop Presentation to Displays (Combined Mode)

For all sources, you also have the ability to stop presenting to displays. To stop the presentations, click the “Stop Presentation” button on lower left of the touch panel and the display sources will disappear from all displayed devices.
To return to another source, select the appropriate source button again, and the image will reappear on all presentation devices.


Audio Control

To control the audio level in the room, press the up arrow to raise the volume and the down arrow to lower the volume. Click the “Volume” button on lower right. The bar on the left tells you the current level. In addition, you can “Mute” the audio by pressing the “Mute” button. To un-mute the audio, press the “Mute” button again.


To power down the System.

To power the system down, press the “Start” button on lower left. Click the “Shut Down” button, the touch panel will prompt to confirm, if you want to shut down the system.

Please choose 
“Yes” or “No”

Please logoff the Podium PC or Laptop.


Multipurpose Classroom Components

The computer PC system and Blu-Ray/DVD is located in the side closet of the room, near the front door.
