How do I find the meeting room and times for my class?
Locate the Faculty Resources card > Click Week at a Glance and this will open the calendar view of your class schedule along with classroom information.

How do I export/print my class list?
Locate the Faculty Courses card and click on Class List. Click on the subject area and then the class list will open. Click on the Export or Print button in the upper right corner. For more detailed instructions, go to How to Email/Export/Print Class List.

Why don’t I see the photos in my class list?
Please check if you have a pop-up blocker enabled. You might need to disable the pop-up blocker from your browser to see the photos or use a different browser.

How do I get a list of my student emails?
To email your whole class from New UIS Experience, you will need to have an email client installed on your computer. Locate the Faculty Courses card and click on Class List. Click on the subject field to open the class list. Select all students (checkbox) and click the Email icon. Then your email client will open with the students’ emails. For more detailed instructions go to How to Email/Export/Print Class List.

How do I enter Mid-Term Grades?
Locate Faculty Grading card and click Grade Entry. For more detailed instructions, go to Mid-Term Grade Entry.

How do I request a Grade Change?

How do I submit an Early Alert for a student?
Locate Faculty Grading card and click on Early Alert. For more detailed instructions, go to Early Alert - Faculty Instructions.

Why can’t I send emails to my Class List?
To email your whole class from New UIS Experience, you will need to have an email client installed on your computer. Your computer may not be configured correctly for "mailto" links, which prevents Banner (or any application) from opening your email client.

How do I record Attendance Verification for a previous date?
If you want to enter Attendance for a date other than the current date, you must click on the Calendar icon to change the date. For more detailed instructions, go to How to Use Attendance Verification.

How do faculty locate the room assignment for their classes in New UIS?
Once Logged in, locate the Widget labeled “New UIS Experience.”
