If you want to ensure people know when you’re busy or away from your desk, set your status in Teams.
To set your status, select your icon in the upper right corner
Teams will automatically set the status in some cases, like when you’re in a call or in a Teams meeting. Meetings in our Microsoft Outlook calendar will change your status to Busy automatically.
To explicitly set it yourself, go to your profile at the top of Teams and select one from the list.
When you want to change your status for a specific period of time—for example, to set "Do not disturb" for an hour of concentrated work—you can set a duration so that Teams will automatically reset your status at the end of the allotted time.
When your status is set to Do not Disturb you can have specific user contact you. To allow these individuals

Privacy

Do not Disturb

Select Manage priority access

Individuals on the list will still be able to contact you.
