The following guide walks you through how to add a Panopto video into your Canvas course’s modules. It assumes that you have already uploaded or recorded the video to your course’s Panopto folder. If you have not done this and are unsure how, please see our IT Help article: How do I add content to my Panopto class folder as an Instructor? (linked)
.

  1. Open your course in Canvas and navigate to the Modules screen in your Course Navigation menu.
    .

  2. Click the ‘+’ sign to the right of the selected module.

Alternatively, instead of adding the video to a module, you can embed Panopto media directly (Panopto Support article linked) into the Rich Content Editor of a Canvas page, announcement, discussion, assignment, or similar content item.
