How do I add this LTI to my Canvas course?

To add this LTI to your course, you first need to reach out to Oxford University Press' sales representative, currently this is Megan Mentuck ([email protected]). She would be able to provide you with a unique OUP link for your course, which is necessary to activate Oxford Insights in your course.

This LTI is added to each course one time, in a module. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open your course in Canvas.

  2. Click the “+” button on the appropriate module in your course.

  3. Select “External Tool” from the drop-down menu.

  4. Locate and select “Oxford Insights” in the list.

  5. In the URL field at the bottom, erase the existing link and replace it with the unique link provided to you by Megan Mentuck.

  6. In the page name field, title the link as desired.

  7. Select “Load in a new tab.”

  8. Click “Add Item” to save.

You can now use the link to access the Oxford insight course. When you are ready to share it with students, please publish the link as well as the module containing it. Look for the green “published” check mark: image-20250729-201012.png

If you plan to copy your course, please note that because each course receives a brand new unique link, you will have to update the link in the new course.
