This article will help you sign into the St. John’s University Webex Page.
Access Webex via signon.stjohns.edu
Open your web browser and navigate to signon.stjohns.edu
On the Sign In page, enter your email address and password into the respective boxes
(If you do not know how to sign in to this page, please see: How Do I Sign In to Signon.stjohns.edu?From the list of apps, locate and click on the Cisco Webex button (pictured below)
This will launch and open a new tab and sign you in automatically to the sju.webex.com page.
Note:
If you are missing the Cisco Webex button in your signon.stjohns.edu account, please create a ticket with IT, by clicking on "Report an Incident" on the https://IThelp.stjohns.edu
Previously, students had to go to http://sju-students.webex.com/, and register their @my.stjohns.edu email address with Webex in order to be able to host their own Webex meetings. Students will NO LONGER be able to register an account there.
However, accounts previously registered accounts on http://sju-students.webex.com/, will remain accessible to those who have already created an account there. Any meeting history or meeting recordings that they have done in the past will not be migrated to the new Webex account that is accessible via https://signon.stjohns.edu.
If you are a student that has previously used WebEx and you are looking for any meetings that you previously hosted and recorded.
Please log in through the previous method in order to download your recording.
Open your web browser and navigate to sju-students.webex.com

In the top right corner of the window, locate and click on the blue Sign In button (red arrow below)

You will be taken to a Webex login page. Enter your username and password

Username should be firstname.lastnameXX

Click the green Log In button (red arrow above)
You will now be taken to your Student Webex account
Signing into the Cisco Webex Meetings Desktop App
The desktop Webex app can be found in the Downloads section of the sju.webex.com page. This will install a desktop client for Webex allowing you to start, schedule, and attend meetings without having to go to the web portal.

Launch the Cisco Webex Meetings app on your computer.

On the first time launch, the app will ask you to provide your email address. Enter your St. John’s University Email Address and click the blue Next button (red arrow below).
A new window will pop open showing the Sign-On portal (signon.stjohns.edu) sign-in window.
On the Sign In page, enter your credentials into the respective boxes (blue box below)
**If you have never logged in to the Sign-On portal, please see the following instructions: How do I log in to Signon.stjohns.edu?-
If successful, you will be signed in and you’ll see the following window appear. You can click Start a Meeting:

The Cisco Webex Meetings desktop app by default is set to start automatically when logging into your computer after shutdown or restart. The app will also try to log you in automatically but may ask you to sign in again from time to time.
