Online Asynchronous classes are required to enter hours and minutes in the Student Details panel under ‘Expected’ or ‘Present’ FOR EACH STUDENT. For example, you can enter 01 hr and 01 min. Attendance Verification can be any date and any number of hours and minutes. The specifics don’t matter. You are confirming the student is engaged in the class.
.
With each student marked present, see confirmation in the top right corner that attendance was added successfully. This is in lieu of a save button.
.
Please disregard Absence Notified checkbox and Attendance column with percentages.
.
.
To undo a checkmark, click 2 times. The circle with a checkmark is Present and an empty circle or red circle counts as Absent. The University only requires that each student is marked Present once per course for Attendance Verification purposes.
.
Continue monitoring until all students who are verified are marked present. Automated emails will remind Instructors to begin the Attendance Verification process and monitor students who are not yet verified.
