The Microsoft Teams meetings LTI makes it easy to schedule and host a meeting with your students from directly inside of your Canvas course.


How do I add this LTI to my Course Navigation Menu?

Before you begin, please make sure you have enabled Microsoft Sync. If you are unfamiliar with this process, please see our help article How do I enable Microsoft Teams Sync in my Canvas course?(linked).

  1. Open your course in Canvas.

  2. Go to Settings and select the Navigation tab.

  3. Drag and drop the “Microsoft Teams meetings” item from the bottom section to the top “enabled” section and select Save when done.

  1. Microsoft Teams meetings should now appear in your course navigation menu. If you select Microsoft Teams meetings from your course navigation menu, you may be prompted to sign in; please sign in with your St. John’s University credentials.
