  1. Sync your Canvas course to Microsoft Teams using the instructions found in this guide: How do I enable Microsoft Teams Sync in my Canvas course?

  2. Open Microsoft Teams.

  3. Go to the Teams tab and open the appropriate class.

  1. You can either select Upload Class Materials” as shown in the image below, or you can select the Files tab in the General channel and select the Class Materials Folder (only teachers in the course can edit files inside of this folder - Students have read-only access).

  1. You can either create a new file in this folder by clicking the “+ New” button, or you can upload an existing file by clicking the “Upload” button. Both are found in the top left-hand side of the screen.

  1. If uploading, click Upload and select either File or Folder, whichever is appropriate, from the drop-down menu. Locate the file or folder you want to upload and clickOpen.”

  1. Your file/folder is now uploaded to the Microsoft Teams class. Students can view this file/folder by following the same path as outlined in steps 1-4, but for step 4 they must select the Files option at the top of the screen.
